Privacy Policy

Information processed
Depending on the features enabled and used by a server, Authority may process Discord user, server, channel and role IDs; server configuration and feature settings; moderation warnings, cases, reasons, moderator IDs, timestamps and temporary actions; ticket subjects, participants, statuses, notes, ratings and related records; message content and related details used for message logging or ticket transcripts; AFK information, polls and votes, channel-lock records, and owner-management audit records; and usernames, display names, attachment filenames and attachment URLs where relevant to Discord features or transcripts.
Purposes of processing
Information is used to operate commands, apply server settings, manage moderation records and tickets, deliver logs and transcripts, provide utilities, protect the service, diagnose errors, and respond to support or privacy requests. Authority does not sell personal information.
Tickets, transcripts and message logging
Ticket transcripts may contain timestamps, author names or IDs, message content, attachment filenames and attachment URLs. Depending on the configured workflow, transcripts may be sent to a designated transcript channel or to the ticket opener through Discord DMs. Edited or deleted message content may be included in configured logging-channel messages. Deleting records from Authority's database does not automatically delete copies already sent to Discord channels or DMs.
Storage and retention
Authority stores configuration and feature-related records in a database. Some records are removed during normal operations, but the current implementation does not guarantee automatic deletion of all server data when Authority is removed. Personal data should be retained only as long as necessary for the relevant purpose or as required or permitted by applicable law.
Third-party services
Discord is used to operate the bot and deliver messages, logs, tickets and transcripts. Hosting and database providers may also process data as necessary to run the service. Provider names and storage regions are maintained internally and must be verified before publication.
Security and access
Reasonable security measures are used, but no online service can guarantee absolute security. Server administrators should restrict access to moderation logs, ticket channels and transcripts.
Privacy rights and deletion requests
Where applicable law grants them, people may have rights to access, correct, delete or restrict processing of their personal data, and to object to certain processing. Contact Raejy through the support channel linked on authority.mom to submit a privacy or deletion request. Requests may require verification, and some data may lawfully need to be retained. Copies held by Discord or other third parties may need to be addressed separately. Where applicable, you may complain to a relevant data protection authority, including the Dutch Autoriteit Persoonsgegevens for people whose situation falls under its jurisdiction.
Children's privacy
Users must comply with Discord's minimum age requirements and applicable law. Authority does not set a separate minimum age.
Policy changes and contact
Updates will be published on this page with a new updated date when Authority's features or data practices change. For questions, contact Raejy through the support channel linked on the website. See the Terms of Service.
